Cinemapartment is a mini magazine about movie interiors
and little things that make a home feel as cozy as a scene from your favorite rom-com.
Hi, I’m Lena.
Thank you for stopping by.
I explore the aesthetics and anthropology of everyday life through cinema.
To me, rom-coms are room-coms. I’ve always found myself looking at the furniture
in movies more than following the plot. At some point, I realized it wasn’t just me.
That’s why I started Cinemapartment — a place for:
Movie Interior Deep Dives: a closer look at furniture, decor, paint, and other details that shape the interiors we see on screen.
Objects from Movies: a growing directory of furniture and home goods seen on screen. Coming soon.
My Personal Notes: stories from my own home, where I try out decorating ideas and bring details inspired by movies into everyday life.
Make yourself at home!
